Founder & Managing Partner
Tom is responsible for leading client engagements, business development, strategy, operations and marketing efforts at Alyssum. Prior to launching Alyssum, Tom was Senior Equity Analyst at Patara Capital focused on fundamental deep-dive research, due diligence, valuation and portfolio management of micro-to-small cap companies across a variety of sectors. Tom's prior experience also includes sell-side equity research covering oil service companies at Banc of America Securities and investment banking within the Real Estate & Lodging Group at JPMorgan where Tom began his career executing M&A transactions, capital raises, debt issuances, syndications and securitizations. Tom earned his BA from The University of Texas at Austin.
Roy is responsible for leading client engagements, business development, strategy and marketing efforts at Alyssum. Roy brings 40 years of investment banking experience across a broad range of debt, equity, M&A and other products and was formerly Managing Director and Transportation Group Head at Salomon Brothers and Lehman Brothers. Roy has completed over $70 billion in transactions across a diverse group of industries and clients, both domestic and international, including airlines, aviation, broadcasting, cruise lines, financial sponsors, governments, internet, leisure, rail, shipping, sovereigns and trucking companies. Roy earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and his BA from Amherst College.
